1st August
It had been a very long day travelling up to Looe but it had been great fun. I managed to get the battery re-charged ready for Wednesday - the 1st of August (the year is moving fast).
Several Cape ladies were in teams playing at Killiow, a golf course near Truro. Di was our driver today and we arrived in good time to enjoy a welcome glass of prosecco and nibbles before heading out on the course.
This is another course I really like - parkland with the chance to open your shoulders because some of the holes have wide, open fairways. There are also some interesting par 3s.
Killiow gave us a lovely welcome with a cream tea half way round too!

Di, Lindsay and I managed to come in with the Best Visitors score so we were very happy!
It was a happy day.
I'm thinking about taking out a membership there to play with their ladies on a Tuesday...it would mean an hours drive but it is a course I really like....something to think about for sure.
