Friday 3rd April
This morning was grey but there were soon things to brighten the day with chats via zoom to Tas... Lovely to see and have fun with the family.
Not long after that it seemed the Bowers were having our family chat too... quickly followed by two lengthy phone calls so the day disappeared before we knew it!
Sadly I had news that Lindsay's mum had died. She had been in and out of hospital with frailty for a year or so and finally it was her time. She was in her mid 90s.
The cloudy day had by this time become another gloriously sunny one. So I walked down through the town towards Cape and had a little walk on the course. It's strange how even walking that distance from home seems almost wrong so I was happy to get back close to home again. There were one or two out walking but not many.
A particular delight was skirting the farmer's field which he had just ploughed, the soil looked so good and rich and wholesome.
