Looe Gala Day
This Tuesday started early as Jane, who lives at Connor Downs, was going to drive us and she wanted me there for 8.30! We weren't playing till 11.40 but you can never tell how the roads will be.
Anyway we had no traffic and were up in Looe before long and had alovely coffee and bacon bap (HUGE) before the others arrived.
This was their gala day and we were playing a three ball texas scramble.
Looe golf course is lovely, a parkland course with lots of trees and beautiful views over the surrounding area, with glimpses of the sea too.
Jane and played with a Looe lady, Penny. We had a lovely day and came home with three raffle prizes (two edible/drinkable)!
