Texas

I am actually up in Yorkshire with Grandma for a few days, but have the chance to add to the blog. I'm not going to write much, but share with you some pictures of the lovely time I had with Jo, Jac and Marty.

Here is the little family that I was visiting...

..they clearly feed themselvs with peculiar utensils... but obviously do not feed their infant son...

... cardboard box flap, and hair were two of his favourite meals...

When caught in the act though, he had a disarming smile...

He clearly needed this swimming aid to help keep him afloat...

Seriously, I had the most wonderful time getting to know this little chap, he is gorgeous. It was also a great delight to meet so many of Jo and Jac's friends. They made me so welcome and I felt very at home.

There were many memorable moment, and a particularly special one for me was when Jeannie and Alastair skyped Jo. Marty was soooo excited...

... you can't see his excitmement and recognition in this picture, but it was so lovely to watch his engagement with the Bears as they talked and sang to him. They also treated me to a guided tour of the house... skype is a wonderful thing!
Phil is still waiting to hear from Korea about a job, Tim came home last weekend - exams over for the moment, and I'm popping over to see Bridgie on Thursday to catch up with her.
More soon...
