Early morning view from my bedroom window... and some views of my day...

... there is a little swimming pool... sea filled... in Priest's Cove... the water was freezing - could only keep my feet in for about 2 mins... and I had to count... it was SO cold!

Confused by this - what is the round light just above the sea?

  1. It's a very rare meteorological phenomenon called Sunincornwall. Don't worry, it will go away soon.

    1. It looks like TWO SuninCornwall's... the big one is the sun... I assume the little one is something my phone camera created? :-) Sat watching birds yesterday :-) x

  2. You know Big A what we used to say in Cornwall:"You remember last year, summer was on a Thursday morning around 10 o'clock".¨
Just to brag.. statistics say that where we have the chalet in Switzerland sees the sun 300 days a year.

  3. In Tasmania we just say "if you don't like the weather now, just wait a couple of hours". (But we still get more sunshine hours in Hobart than they do in Sydney).
